Web Design Faversham

I worked in Faversham. It has over 450 listed buildings, Britain's oldest brewery, and a community that takes genuine pride in where it lives. Look around for five minutes and you'll find something most towns don't have.

Web design in Faversham

Shepherd Neame has been brewing in Faversham since 1698, making it the oldest brewery in Britain - and the town has a medieval street, Abbey Street, that's considered one of the finest in England. The Guildhall in the Market Place dates to 1574. Faversham Creek, the old working waterfront, still has traditional barges moored at Standard Quay. In 1688, King James II was caught by local fishermen on the Creek while trying to flee the country in disguise. They brought him to the Ship Inn. The town has been accumulating stories like that for centuries.

The Faversham Society runs on volunteers and their motto is "seek to cherish the past, adorn the present, create for the future." You can tell they mean it. The independent shops along Court Street, West Street and the Market Place have held on in a way that lots of similar towns haven't managed. The weekly Charter Market has been running for centuries. Locals are genuinely invested in what Faversham is, and they notice when something new adds to that or takes away from it.

That matters for local businesses online. People here notice when something is done well, and when it isn't. A website that looks generic or hasn't been updated since 2015 sends a signal. I build websites for Faversham businesses that reflect the care that's gone into what you've built: fast, well structured, and properly visible in local search.
